Gabrielle Rish has three decades of writing and editing experience, as a journalist (news, features, sub-editing), editor and communications expert. She has experience in academic writing through the completion of two degrees. She has worked in the community services sector, co-authored a report for the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and written numerous arts and general features. She edited and proofread the 330-page monograph, The World Art of Adam Rish (RYZ Publishing 2021) and was a consultant editor to nipaluna/Hobart-based historian Anna Jacobs Clayton on her book, Arctic Circles and Imperial Knowledge: The Franklin Family, Indigenous Intermediaries, and the Politics of Truth, Bloomsbury Academic (Jan 2024 release). She has worked with Charlie Bravo Design to write a four-hour training course for TasNetworks (2021) and develop identity and interpretation for the Parks department’s Next Iconic Walk on Tasmania’s West Coast (2022–)
